Synopsis: Silambattam is the same old Family revenge story. Vichu (Simbu) is an innocent temple priest who
is brought up by his grandfather (Nedumudi Venu) as a coward. in a village.His grandfather hides him from
knowing the past.He comes to know about his father Tamilarasan who was Killed twenty years ago in a family
riot by a young boy Thuraisingh.Prabu who is the brother of Tamil finds Vichu and Vichu turns as Tamil
and takes revenge.
